Church and Castles

So this morning began well, after a long deep sleep. Finally. Breakfast was just what my 11th grade German teacher told me to expect: Breads, Thin slices of meat (like lunch meats), and cheeses. All in all it was very good. They also had alot of Muslix type cereals, but i stuck to the breads and cheeses.

Church was at Manantha UMC. This is one of only 2 UMC in the entire city. The service was in Czech but we did recognize the first two songs as Lord I Lift Your Name on High and Come, Now is the Time to Worship. Also, in the UMC today is World Communion Sunday, which was really neat. So we celebrated the World-wide Celebration of the Lord's Supper. Afterwords, there was a small lunch of Goulash and ham(?) and some sort of chicken/potato salad.
Here are some pics from church:

Then we went to some castles. First we saw Nebilovy Mansion/Castle. Its kinda like a Biltmore Estate. IT is around 300 years old, and half of it has been renovated We had these pics taken in the courtyard in between the new and old sections:

Then we went an OLD Castle, Radyne Castle built in 1300s. It was basically just the ruins, but it was still pretty awesome to see the castle walls and the old moat. Plus its built upon a hill so the views from the top were Great! Look a these pics:

After touring the castles we grilled some Wursts and played games with the children of the church families that went to see the castles with us. and yes, our teams won!!
